Yashica 44 - 1958

The Yashica 44 is a small format TLR (Twin Lens Reflex: twin-lens viewfinder cameras), using 127 film.

Inspired by Rollei cameras, this medium format "baby" camera is customized by the company and offered in different color variations.

Its format and aesthetics make it one of the first "jewel" cameras and also an excellent compromise between the size of the negative and the bulk in the field.
