 Georges Sand did not appreciate her first photographic experience. Nadar was able to instill in her confidence in this new medium. He would be the only one able to photograph her, and a true friendship would blossom from their interactions. Nadar greatly admired Georges Sand. He knew how to capture her serenity, as in this photograph.
