Nico Koster (1940) is a Dutch photographer. He worked for De Telegraaf (a Dutch newspaper) where he covered several historical events. In 1969, he produced his famous series on John Lennon and Yoko Ono at the Hilton Hotel during their "Bed-in-for-Peace." In 1988, he founded his own art gallery and became one of the leading figures of the Cobra Movement in the Netherlands.
Corneille Guillaume Van Beverloo (1922-2010) was born in Liège to Dutch parents. He studied at the Amsterdam Academy of Fine Arts from 1940 to 1943, where he met Appel. Corneille founded the Dutch Experimental Group with Appel and Constant. He co-signed the COBRA manifesto (Copenhagen, Brussels, Amsterdam) and contributed to several issues of the journal of the same name.
