Léontine Fromentin, whose real name was L. Devaux (1840–1887), was a French actress. She is particularly known for her roles in the theater and for several photographic portraits of her, taken by the major Parisian studios of the time. Many of these are held in major collections such as the Musée d'Orsay and the Musée Carnavalet.
Eugène Thiébault (1825/1826) was a 19th-century Parisian photographer, famous for his portraits, stereoscopic views, and celebrity photographs. Located at 31 Boulevard de Bonne-Nouvelle, his studio was taken over in 1868 by his son-in-law, Paul Bacard, under the name "Photographie Thiébault – Bacard fils, réussit".
