Kodak Rainbow Hawk-Eye n°1 Model A Brown
Very rare folding Kodak pocket with its original brown bellows, very quickly replaced by a black bellows.
Metal body covered in brown imitation leather with matching bellows and Art Deco kickstand.
Made or assembled in the United States from 1926 to 1932.
This camera took six exposures, in 5.7 x 8.25 cm format on 120 film.
Equipped with an achromatic meniscus lens and a Kodo shutter, it allowed for both time-lapse and instant exposures. Constructed with a robust aluminum body and covered in durable leatherette, the metal parts were finished in nickel or colored enamel to match the exterior coating. Kodak offered the camera in black or four different colors: green, brown, blue, and gray. Features included a color-matched bellows, an automatic graphic function, a bright reversible viewfinder, and a tripod socket.
