 Among the famous monuments captured by Baldus in the south of France is the Pont du Gard, presented in the form of a panoramic view with the reflection of the bridge in the Gardon river.
 These photographs are not only works of art, but also valuable historical documents. An identical print is in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
