Sold with a crystoleum and a practical treatise on photo-miniature.

It was in 1867 that Joseph BOURGEOIS-AÎNE opened a colour business in Paris as well as a factory in Montreuil where he manufactured the first colours called "non-dangerous" and intended for art schools.

Later he would offer his colors for photo retouching.
